To drive and accelerate this, Investor Days Thüringen has been organized for several years and forms one of Germany’s largest stages for start-ups, tech-growth companies, venture capitalists and SMEs. We, plazz AG, are proud to be a long-standing partner of Investor Days Thuringia.
Investor Days Thüringen
The Investor Days Thuringia are an initiative of the Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research Thuringia (STIFT) and beteiligungsmanagement thüringen gmbh (bm|t). They have been held for several days for several years. More than 500 actors of the innovation ecosystem come together at this event. Start-ups and tech-growth companies pitch their latest technologies and innovative business models there to generate the best deal flow. This initiative brings innovative start-ups and growth companies together with potential cooperation partners as well as with investors and business angels.
7th edition of the Investor Days Thüringen
On June 14th and 15 June 2022, the IDT took place under the motto “Spotlight on Innovation“. The venue was the multifunctional arena in Erfurt’s Steigerwald Stadium. The “Innovation Arena” brought together 64 companies, of which 36 start-ups and scale-ups performed on the pitch stage in front of 165 VC investors and business angels. In total, the IDT brought together 500 founders, investors, entrepreneurs and inventors.
On the first day, the focus was on start-ups. Entrepreneurs presented their innovative business concepts on the pitch stage in order to convince investors. With the help of the live voting function of the plazz AG event solution, the most convincing performance was chosen. There was also an audience award. This was awarded by the feedback of the participants.

The second day was used for networking between investors and Thuringian growth companies.
