With version 4.0, Polario brings numerous exciting new features that make your app use even more convenient and efficient. Whether it’s customisable email campaigns, the new public profile for better networking or flexible drag-and-drop tools in the CMS – these updates offer you more opportunities to control content in a targeted manner and involve your community even better.
Tags for news articles
With the new version 4.0 of Polario, tags in news articles are now displayed directly in the article as well as in the news list and widget. The best thing: As a CMS administrator, you can pre-filter the news list or the widget according to one or more tags. This means you always have an overview and can emphasise relevant content even better.
Public Profile
This individually configurable profile view can be customised by the users themselves and is displayed in various places in the app. Whether in the chat, social feed or comments – the public profile ensures better networking and more transparency. It also complements the personal directories created via the CMS and creates a flexible way to present yourself in the community.
The e-mail campaign
Emails have been fundamentally revised in the new Polario version. CMS administrators can now customise email campaigns in the global area – from the subject line to attachments and placeholders. Content and configurations are stored for all campaigns by default, but these can be customised flexibly.
Each campaign is aimed at a target group (To) and is activated by a trigger. While system emails such as ‘Forgotten password’ have fixed settings, other campaigns, such as the newsletter, offer extensive customisation options. This allows you to customise your communication precisely and effectively!
Important: It is currently not possible to create new newsletters for customers independently. This function will be available again in one of the next versions. Should this nevertheless occur, it can be created by our development team. Existing newsletters are not affected by this.
E-Mail-Editor
Version 4.0 makes email design even easier: a drag-and-drop editor allows CMS administrators to flexibly customise email content. You can insert text, placeholders, colours and images as required.
Although Polario layouts and content are stored as standard, these can be easily customised. Particularly practical: you can send test emails to yourself or others at any time to check the result.
Menu revision
The menu editor in the CMS has also been completely revised. You can now customise the app menu conveniently using drag-and-drop – for even faster and more intuitive editing.
