Efficient event communication and enthusiastic participants - a shared mission
One of the biggest problems was the fragmented distribution of information: important updates were often communicated to participants too late or incompletely, which led to confusion and frustration. In addition, interaction with participants was limited. Questions, feedback or spontaneous discussions were difficult to take up during the events. Added to this was the organisational complexity, especially at larger events such as the INKOMETA Days. Printed programmes and site plans not only caused a high logistical effort, but were also cost-intensive and not very sustainable. At the same time, there was a lack of options for updating this information at short notice.
Another obstacle was the lack of networking among the participants. Without a central platform, many contacts remained unused and the potential for networking was barely utilised. These shortcomings made it clear that an innovative and digital solution was needed.
‘Our aim was to create a platform that provides information quickly and in a targeted manner while actively involving participants,’ explains Malte Oberländer, Event Manager at SCM.
‘We have found that the information reaches participants faster and more efficiently. This allows us to communicate short-term actions and changes much better, which increases the success of our events.’

How the Polario Event App sustainably enriches SCM events
The introduction of the Polario Event App has permanently changed the organisation and implementation of SCM events. It not only optimised event communication, but also increased participant satisfaction thanks to innovative functions and flexible customisation options. ‘The app allows us to provide information faster and in a more targeted manner. This has made processes more efficient and significantly improved the event experience,’ explains Malte Oberländer.
