The IT-KoM is the contact fair of the Department of Applied Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and took place on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, for the tenth time in House 8 of the UAS.
Students at the IT-KoM
The IT contact fair is aimed at all students of applied computer science. These include all Bachelor’s and Master’s students with majors in media, business and engineering informatics as well as the profile lines Intelligent Networked Systems, Web Engineering and Interactive Media, and Enterprise and Mobile Computing.
They also had the opportunity to exchange ideas with the professors of Applied Computer Science, to discuss research ideas and to establish personal contacts.

Our colleagues Christopher, Matthias and Chris represented us at the IT-KoM. As exhibitors, we introduced ourselves as a company to the students and talked to them. For many years, we have also offered to supervise them in their final theses or to provide them with an internship to gain their first professional experience. Furthermore, interested parties were allowed to use Polario on test devices to get a look & feel of our product and possibly get the first touchpoint at their potential workspace.
With our popcorn machine we were able to score points with the students and attracted several to our booth by the smell alone 🍿.
In addition to well-known exhibiting companies at IT-KoM, there was also a speaker program where exhibitors gave presentations on interesting topics.
